As for his post on open peer review: I believe it is worthy of publication but needs a bit more cooking. I’d give it an R&R.
More specifically, I would approach the analogy btwn peer review & consumer review a bit more cautiously. For instance, what pathologies of current consumer review do we want to avoid? RateMyProfessorization?

An Error-Matching Exclusion Method for Accelerating Visual SLAM
In Visual SLAM, achieving accurate feature matching consumes a significant amount of time, severely impacting the real-time performance of the system. This paper proposes an accelerated method for Visual SLAM by integrating GMS (Grid-based Motion Statistics) with RANSAC (Random Sample Consensus) for the removal of mismatched features.
